South Gippsland

Everyone should have a food garden, because of the way it connects you to your garden space, and your garden space to the inside of your house‘ – Kate Pospisil, Landscape Architect, TSLC

We designed and constructed this home garden in South Gippsland for a sustainable home built by The Sociable Weaver. This 670m2 landscape features a productive vegetable garden which will grow hundreds of kilos of produce a year, as well as native and locally indigenous plants for biodiversity.

We use local sustainable materials wherever we can, particularly the Biofilta Foodcubes which are made of 80% recycled plastic, and are a low-water use solution to growing heaps of produce easily. We also include composting solutions in our landscapes, as cycling nutrients within the garden is crucial to the circular economy and sustainability of your growing practices.
