Kate & Georgia Answer Your Questions…

When you work with TSLC’s design team, not only are you working with highly experienced and skilled designers but also with people who are truly passionate about bringing your dream landscape to life.

Take a look at this short video with our resident landscape architect Kate as she talks you through our project process:

What’s involved in the Initial consultation with a client?

When we meet a client for a design consultation it’s a great opportunity to get to know the client, to really understand their vision and how they want to live and work in their garden.

It’s also a good opportunity to see the site itself, understand any physical constraints, and lastly, to talk about the budget.

What does your design process look like?

After the initial consultation, we pull together all the information and develop a preliminary concept. The second stage involves incorporating any comments the client has on the concept to produce a final landscape concept.

During this process, we have the opportunity to control how the design translates onto the ground. Being onsite gives us the opportunity to creatively respond to things you could never expect when you’re putting pen to paper.

That capacity to really be able to engage, to be really passionate about what we do, to really understand the problem solving that is involved allows us to bring it all together and turn it into something that our client can live with forever.
